Jason Azzopardi arrested for alleged filming inside Law Courts

Lawyer Jason Azzopardi has been arrested for allegedly filming inside Malta’s law courts without authorisation. Azzopardi announced his arrest on Facebook, stating, “Ten minutes ago, I was arrested,” while informing his followers of the situation.

The arrest stems from allegations that Azzopardi filmed Prime Minister Robert Abela and Justice Minister Jonathan Attard inside the court building.

Azzopardi is scheduled to appear before a magistrate at 2 pm, with testimony expected from Abela, Attard, and court officials.
