13-year-old girl hospitalised after Mtarfa traffic accident

Yesterday morning, at about 10:15 am, a 13-year-old girl was taken to hospital after being involved in a traffic accident on Sir Philip Pullicino Street in Mtarfa.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the girl, who was riding a bicycle, was hit by a Ford B-Max driven by a 25-year-old man, also a resident of Mtarfa.

She was immediately provided with medical assistance and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where she was certified to have sustained serious injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
