Clarification on the 17 Black and Electrogas Inquiries

Yesterday, we were first to break the news that a Magisterial Inquiry was deposited at the Office of the Attorney General that will kickstart a new court case in relation to the Electrogas project. The Magisterial Inquiry’s main investigation was on the Yorgen Fenech’s Dubai-based company, 17 Black which was meant to launder illegal proceeds from the Eltrogas Project. Yorgen Fenech was also interrogated by the police as reported here.

However, there is also a separate Magisterial Inquiry on the Electrogas project which is also set to be concluded soon.
