Devastating wildfires continue to burn through Los Angeles, USA, killing at least five people and forcing more than 180,000 from their homes.
The Palisades Fire has left more than 17,000 acres burned and remains uncontained. The Eaton Fire has also burned over 10,600 acres and equally remains uncontained as a crisis fueled by strong Santa Ana winds.
The fire destroyed up to 1,000 houses, including those of celebrities, besides causing considerable infrastructure damage and leaving hundreds of thousands without electricity.
California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency, while federal aid has been mobilized to support firefighting efforts and help the people who have been displaced.
It also took a toll on the entertainment industry, where various events were either rescheduled or canceled, while some productions shut down due to the danger.
Communities rally for victims’ aid donations as investigations are still on regarding the causes of the fires.
