Alice Weidel to contest for the German Chancellery with AFD: uses rhetoric and gestures similar to Adolf Hitler

Alice Weidel will be contesting the German general elections as a candidate for the German Chancellery as leader of the far-right party, Alternative for Germany (AFD). She was formally approved as a candidate by her party yesterday, where she gave a very fiery speech with strong gestures and hand movements that reminds one of Adolf Hitler.

One of her points in her speech, yesterday at the party’s conference was that she pledged to restart the Nord-Stream gas pipeline with Russia. However, she once again invoked Hitler’s rhetoric when she accused of AntiFa protestors of being Nazis, while reiterating that she is simply “a libertarian who loves her nation”.

Last week, she also made a point in an interview with Elon Musk on X.com where she claimed that Adolf Hitler was a communist. In fact, this rhetoric is very similar to Adolf Hitler’s, who, to win the support of the German working-class, insisted that he is simply a “socialist who loves his nation” therefore making him a “national-socialist”.

The number of capitalists and businesses actually increased during Nazism, and the German stock market soared when the Nazis took power. The German capitalist class grew significantly richer under Hitler’s rule, and despite labelling himself as a “socialist” Hitler’s economic policies where more in line with fascist corporatism of that time which allowed businesses to operate and grow as long they supported the state’s policies that included war and conquest.

Scary shit. Difference from 1938 to now is that Germany has an aging spoilt population with an economy that needs to renew itself not cause more angst with its neighbours

But I guess if blatantly speaking false works for Trump why not for Alice
