Harmony Jets, private-charter flight company based in Malta, violated sanctions by transporting Irish mercenaries to Benghazi

The Malta based private-charter flight company, Harmony Jets, has violated sanctions by transporting Irish mercenaries and their military equipment from European cities to Benghazi, a UNSC report has found.

The company denied the accusations but refused to answer questions and provide the necessary information to the UNSC investigative panel.

The UNSC investigation found that Harmony Jets has flew a number of flights to Benghazi transporting with its Dassault jets, members of the Irish Training Solutions: a private military group. The carrier also transported its military equipment. The company operated up to 47 chartered flights for the Irish mercenaries to Benghazi.

    Nice article! But this company has been operating flights to Libya for years now, especially from Malta!
    The problem is that your government, through its civil aviation authority, allows it to happen and never dares to inspect this airline.
    The close financial ties between Malta and Libya are simply too significant…
