Emmanuel Bugeja secured victory in the 1st Trap Selection Shoot of the year, edging out strong competition to claim the top spot on the podium. Gianluca Chetcuti finished in second place, while Ryan Bugeja took third in a tightly contested final.
The competition, organized over two days at the Malta National Shooting Ranges, saw six finalists battle it out in the final round. Based on qualification scores, the six shooters who made it to the final were:

- Ryan Bugeja โ 114/125 (+0 shoot-off)
- James Jr Galea โ 113/125
- William Chetcuti โ 111/125
- Emmanuel Bugeja โ 110/125

In the final, Emmanuel Bugeja displayed remarkable consistency, finishing with 45 hits out of 50, narrowly defeating Chetcuti, who managed 43/50. Ryan Bugeja secured third place with 35/40, followed by James Jr Galea, William Chetcuti, and Brian Galea.
