Malta Premier League sees marginal attendance increase

According to statistics released by the Malta Football Association, match attendance figures for the Malta Premier League have seen an increase, albeit a marginal one.

Based on 96 matches up to December 2024, the number of spectators has risen from 47,084 in December 2023 to 48,159 in December 2024.

Children under the age of 12 will be able to attend 360Sports Malta Premier League football matches FREE OF CHARGE starting from April. This initiative is designed to make elite football more appealing to families who want to enjoy the action together.

The timing of this announcement coincides with the start of the most exciting stage of the competitionโ€”the Top & Bottom 6 phase in the Closing Round. With the league reaching its decisive moments, the move aims to boost engagement and introduce young fans to the thrill of live football.

The announcement was made late on Monday by KML chairman Alan Abela during his guest appearance on the football show Il-Kampjonat on TVMsport+.
