Motorcyclist injured in traffic collision on Triq Hompesch, Fgura

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred yesterday at around 6:00 pm on Triq Hompesch in Fgura.

Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that the incident involved a collision between a Chevrolet Aveo, driven by a 32-year-old Albanian woman residing in Fgura, and a Kawasaki ZR750 motorcycle, ridden by a 45-year-old Italian man living in M’Scala.

A medical team was called to the scene, and the motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to have sustained serious injuries.

Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
