Israeli is still considering its options in Gaza after halting all humanitarian aid in Gaza earlier this week following its withdrawal from the ceasefire it signed with Hamas.
Hamas seems to have fulfilled its part of the deal by releasing the first set of Israeli hostages, but Israel is refusing to commit to start withdrawing its forces from Gaza as agreed in the second phase of the deal. Blame for the breakdown in the ceasefire is being attribute to Hamas but there is no evidence so far that Hamas is not fulfilling its part of the deal. In a recent statement, Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan said that Hamas are willing to see the fulfillment of the entirety of the deal. Hamdan also said that Israel has breached the ceasefire agreement multiple times by striking targets and conducting raids in Gaza during the ceasefire.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is threatening to re-start the war in Gaza, but it is unclear yet what Israel’s next actions will be. President Trump wants to displace Palestinians from Gaza while Israel is slowly annexing the West Bank.
