Hamas has proceeded with the release of three other Israeli hostages today, including the release of American-Israeli hostage Sagui Dekel-Chen, according to the ceasefire agreement with Israel after it had suspended it earlier this week. Hamas then agreed to continue with the release of hostages as more humanitarian aid was allowed to pass through Rafah.
The routine humiliation of the abductees was once again carried out before their release to the Red Cross, this time in Khan Younis. The hostages are being released against 369 Palestinian prisoners which will be released later today.
Talks in Qatar are ongoing through mediators between Hamas and Israel for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement which will supposedly result in Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza. However, the President Donald Trump is insisting to deport the Palestinian population from Gaza, a proposal Arab countries are opposing. So far, among the Arab states, only the Untied Arab Emirates is supporting the US proposal to displace Palestinians from Gaza.
