Israel has demanded the evacuation of all patients from the Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Old City in order to bomb it. It is the last remaining functioning hospital in Gaza. Airstrikes and raids on Gaza City have taken place during the weekend killing multiple civilians. Bombings and raids were also recorded in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah.
Israel has systematically destroyed Gaza’s infrastructure with hospitals being its main target. The targeting of hospitals is a common act of aggression by belligerent war criminals and has been used frequently by Russia and previously by Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria.
Hamas has told Al-Jazeera that fuel in Gaza will run out in two weeks time. Humanitarian aid in Gaza has been blocked by Israel prior to its renewal of its attacks. Israel unilaterally pulled out of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas and renewed its war on Gaza. Up to 58 hostages remain in Gaza under Hamas custody with no definite confirmation on whether they are alive or dead. Up to 28 hostages are said to be still alive.
Protests in Tel Aviv continued in the weekend with Israeli protesters holding images of Palestinian children killed in Gaza.
