Malta’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister condemns Israel and Russia in one day

Yesterday evening, Malta’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ian Borg issued two separate statements condemning both Israel and Russia for their attacks on civilians.

The Foreign Minister condemned Russia’s attack on Sumy saying it is just another “horrific remind of Russia’s aggression”. In his statement on Israel the Foreign Minister condemned the attack on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital saying it is an attack against humanitarian law.

The Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital was bombed by Israel after it ordered its evacuation. It was the last remaining functioning hospital in Gaza. Israel is currently bombing Gaza as we write this article.
