Erin Tanti has been enjoying regular prison leave ever since he was convicted

Correction: He was arrested in 2014 and convicted in 2019.

I was sarcastic when I said that the Labour government will soon be abolishing the Criminal Code as part of its campaign against the rule-of-law, but apparently, fiction is closer to the truth than we can imagine.

Yesterday, I was informed by my prison insiders that Erin Tanti, known by various names including Erin Palmier, Erin Stuart Tanti and others, has been regularly leaving the prison facility in Kordin to enjoy civilian activities on a regular basis ever since he was convicted and imprisoned. His prison leave increased from 2020 and he also has a part-time job. He was convicted and imprisoned for twenty years in 2019.

Erin Tanti was convicted of murdering his 15 year-old student Lisa Maria Zahra, and yesterday, it was reported that he impregnated a “young woman”. Andrew Azzopardi, the Head of the Youth Studies at the University of Malta and also a “journalist” at Newsbook, has been advocating and lobbying the government and prison authorities to provide soft conditions for Erin Tanti.

Apparently, prison sentences are no longer prison sentences in Malta if a grifter like Andrew Azzopardi advocates for you with his Labour Party friends in the government.

We are truly becoming a criminal paradise where crime does pay significantly.

Note that he also has access to the internet.
