Nurse and doctor suspended from Kordin Prison over Erin Tanti case

A nurse and a doctor working at Corradino Correctional Facility have been suspended late last week over the case of Erin Tanti. Erin Tanti is serving a twenty-year prison sentence for murder, after taking his fourteen year-old student to Dingli Cliffs to kill herself in 2014.

He was sentenced in 2019, but has enjoyed the advocacy and support of the University of Malta’s “Youth Studies”, head of department, Andrew Azzopardi. Since then, Erin “Stuart” Tanti was allowed to leave prison, study at University and also impregnate a young woman.

Prison chief Chris Siegersma defended the decision to allow Erin Tanti to leave prison, stating that he was always accompanied and supervised. An internal prison investigation is ongoing.

It must beg to question if a nobody like Tanti gets out on trips and can impregnate someone because he knows someone as a head of department just think what someone who was incarcerated there B4 who is connected and is a multi millionaire with governments past and present in his pockets could have done?
