Russia fires two ballistic missiles at the city of Sumy and kills up to 31 people

Early this morning, as Ukrainians were holding processions for Palm Sunday, Russia struck the city of Sumy with two ballistic missiles and killed up to 31 people. People who were on their way to Church during a religious procession were also hit. Up to 31 people have been confirmed killed and many others injured. Drone strikes also hit Kyiv and Kharkiv.

Russia has been firing missiles and drones at Ukrainian cities on a daily basis ever the US claimed that Russia accepted a civilian ceasefire.

Last Friday, President Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff met with Russian President Putin and proposed the US to give Russia the Ukrainian territories it currently occupies. He previously stated that Russia was adhering to a civilian ceasefire.
