Protesters in Tel Aviv hold pictures of Palestinian children from Gaza

Israeli police arrested several people last night after mass protests in Tel Aviv blocked the streets at Begin Gate, HaKirya. Protesters held pictures of Palestinian children from Gaza who were killed by Israeli forces.

Israeli protesters are demanding an immediate end to the war on Gaza and a resumption of negotiations with Hamas in order to release all the remaining hostages. Israel unilaterally withdrew from the ceasefire agreement with Hamas and started bombing Gaza again. There is no evidence that Hamas breached its ceasefire agreement and all Israeli hostages were being handed over according to schedule.

Protests in Tel Aviv started as soon as Israel renewed its hostilities in Gaza and have been regular ever since. The protests in Tel Aviv are also coinciding with massive and historic protests in Gaza.
