Prime Minister’s brother-in-law defending accused soldiers over AFM base drug-heist

The Prime Minister’s brother-in-law, Albert Zerafa is defending the members of the Armed Forces of Malta accused of being accomplices to the criminals who stole a disputed amount of drugs from an AFM base. This was reported yesterday in the Times of Malta.

Albert Zerafa has also taken over the former legal brief of Prime Minister Robert Abela’s client, Christian Borg.  Christian Borg was one of Malta’s primary cocaine importers before he washed his money into his car-leasing business, today called Princess Holdings and No Deposit Cars. There is no link between Christian Borg and the AFM base drug-heist.

You can see Christian Borg in conversation with Albert Zerafa and Franco Debono here. We are accustomed to normalising the bizarre and the irregular, and many will argue that it is his right to work as a lawyer and whatnot. No exception and limits are set with issues of national security as everything is open and up for grabs in a criminal and rent-seeking paradise.

Incredible.
