Heathrow Airport has fully reopened, with all services restored. Heathrow Airport closed down and as it went dark after a transformer of a nearby substation caught fire in what the London Fire Brigade described as a “serious and significant incident”. Energy Minister Ed Miliband said that an investigation is ongoing to discover the causes of the fire.
