Liam Sciberras has replaced Charles Bonello as the President of the College Party’s Local Councilors: the party’s organ which brings together its local councilors. Liam Sciberras is the Santa Luċija local councilor currently opposing the commercial use of a car park in his locality, which is being leased to Christian Borg for parking his rental cars.
The Nationalist Party has carefully selected the ongoing administrative changes by placing an experienced and loyal party functionary to serve in a core post while providing his younger competitors with peripheral posts. It does not reflect well on the PN that their Secretary-General is a relic of the party’s past. However, all is not lost if the younger generation still has a chance to make headway within the party.
