Health Minister Jo Etienne Abela and Opposition spokesperson for Health Adrian Delia were in Warsaw last night attending the UEFA World Cup qualifying match between Poland and Malta. Malta lost the match 2-0 although had a creditable performance overall.
Abela uploaded a photo of a view from the stands of the stadium with his location clearly marked there. Earlier in the day, the minister launched a national mental health strategy, which was posted on his FB page.
Delia had earlier attended an Inter-Parliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Common Security and Defence Policy. He was accompanied by Labour MP Edward Zammit Lewis, who took the opportunity to emphasize his peacemaking credentials in line with official Labour policy.
So far, it is unclear if Zammit Lewis attended the match as no social media posts on his pages were available.
