Redditor describes horrible conditions at wild animal zoo in Imtaħleb

In keeping with the current news theme on the maltreatment and captivity of wild animals in Malta, I’m sharing a recent review by a Redditor about the infamous “Wildlife Animal Park” in Imtaħleb. The review describes the horrible and disgusting conditions in which the wild animals are being kept.

This is the same zoo that was operating illegally and was destroyed in a fire in 2017, killing many of its animals in the process. The state took out the fire of the illegal zoo at its own expense, and its owner Christopher Borg went unpunished for the disaster. He was allowed to rebuild his zoo and he is now free to do whatever he likes as the Labour government liberalised the captivity of wild animals.

Very progressive and socialist.

I have a very low opinion of these people who keep wild animals in cages. Using wild animals for captivity for entertainment purposes is maltreatment, but keeping them in such conditions is outright sociopathy or psychopathy with deeply rooted mental health problems. These people need to be thrown in mental asylums and not allowed to open zoos.

People who love animals are scientists or conservationists who work in these respective fields in a professional manner: these on the other hand, these types are just stupid sociopaths.
