Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants investigation on stock market trading by Congress and trading ban

US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants an investigation in the stock market trading by members of Congress in relation to President Donald Trump’s announcement when he encouraged people to buy stocks. The President’s statement created a massive rebound in the market after it declined due to the global tariff war that President Trump announced.

Internal market data shows that some politicians like Marjorie Taylor Greene may have ticked the bottom of the market on April 4th prior to the news release by “Walter Bloomberg” that President Trump was to give a 90-day reprieve on tariffs. On the other hand trading volumes consistently show that some traders anticipated President Trump’s announcement.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez wants to propose a total stock-trading ban to members of Congress.
