Maltese Blackball teams qualify for semifinal

The two Maltese teams representing Malta in the Blackball 2025 Nations Cup in Bridlington achieved the desired success when they reached the semi-finals of this competition. The under-23 team had two fine wins against England A 13-12 and Wales B 15-10. This enabled them to secure the points they needed to advance to the last four.
The Blackball Under-15 team also achieved the victory they needed after defeating Wales 10-5. Today these two teams get into action as Malta U15 plays against England while the under-23 team has a commitment against Scotland.
In the Blackball individual competition, Jake Castaldi advanced to the next round by defeating Tom Seaton 4-2. Unfortunately, Denzel Falzon was eliminated by Riley Patterson 4-3. Jake Castaldi will be playing today against Bailey Earlston. In the doubles, the pair Nick Muscat and Denzel Falzon were eliminated by Daragh Carragher and Noah Corkish 4-2.
