Malta’s national squash champion, Colette Sultana, has claimed her first Professional Squash Association 3K tournament title this weekend, emerging victorious at the Northern Territory 2025 PSA Open held in Darwin, Australia.
Throughout the week, Sultana delivered an outstanding performance against international contenders. She advanced to the final after defeating Tansyn Noble of Australia in straight games (11-7, 11-2, 11-3) in the quarterfinals, and Ye Won Jang of South Korea (11-4, 11-7, 11-5) in the semifinals.
In a dramatic and hard-fought final, Sultana edged out Chaewon Song of South Korea in a thrilling five-game match (6-11, 11-9, 11-5, 8-11, 15-13) to secure the championship and her first PSA 3K title.
