Two parked vehicles were completely destroyed in a fire that broke out shortly after midnight on Tuesday in Siġġiewi, the Malta Police Force has confirmed.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:15am on Triq il-Mitħna, a residential street in the quiet village of Siġġiewi. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Firefighters from the Civil Protection Department were swiftly dispatched to the scene to bring the flames under control. Police officers also responded and secured the area while the fire was extinguished.
A police spokesperson said the cause of the fire remains unclear at this stage. Authorities have not ruled out any possibilities, including arson, as investigations are still underway.
