Robert Aquilina, has just announced that he will be summoned by the Police to be interrogated over his leaks over the Magisterial Inquiry of Pilatus Bank.
Robert Aquilina is currently being investigated by the Police on the order Magistrate Nadine Lia over his leaks of the Magisterial Inquiry of Pilatus Bank. Nadine Lia was married to the son of Pawlu Lia, who was also the Labour Party and Joseph Muscat’s lawyer. She appeared at an election rally in 2017 making excuses for the corruption of Joseph Muscat and his closed associates. Pilatus Bank concerns corruption relating to Keith Schembri and Brian Tonna who built an off-shore network to hide and launder corrupt proceeds.
Both the Police and the Attorney General have refused to prosecute the owners of Pilatus Bank for corruption and money laundering. Instead, they have arraigned only the bank’s risk manager and are investigating Robert Aquilina over the leaks related to the case.
