Marlon Attard emerged victorious in the MSSF Skeet Competition 50+50+25 (T2), held at the Gozo Clay Target Association Ranges, with an exceptional score of 122/125.
Attardโs consistency across all rounds earned him the top spot in a highly competitive field. Andre Cassar and Liam Sciberras followed closely, both finishing with 120/125. Cassar secured second place in a shoot-off with +1 +2, while Sciberras placed third after a shoot-off result of +1 +1.
This event is one of four such skeet competitions scheduled by the Malta Shooting Sport Federation (MSSF) for this year. The format challenges athletes over a potential 125 targets plus shoot-offs, testing both accuracy and endurance.
Each competition begins with all shooters firing at 50 targets. The top four scorers progress to the next stage, shooting an additional 50 targets. After 100 targets, the athlete with the lowest cumulative score is eliminated, and the remaining three compete in a final round of 25 targets to determine the final standings.
