The Malta national veterans football team will return to the pitch this Saturday, 29 June, for a special fixture against Middlesex Wanderers AFC in the Sir Bobby Charlton Memorial Cup. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in ฤฆamrun.
This commemorative match honours the legacy of football legend Sir Bobby Charlton. Itย is supported by Visit Malta and Puttinu Cares, blending football tradition with charitable support for children battling illness.
Head coach Joe Micallef has named a 17-man squad made up of former national team players and well-known local football figures who will wear the Malta colours once again.
