2 children dead in fourth school mass shooting in the US this year

A mass shooting has taken place yesterday during mass at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with at least 2 children dead and up to 17 others injured. This is the fourth mass shooting at a school in the US this year.

The shooter was a 23 year-old transgender individual called Robin Westman (Robert Westman) who killed himself following the shooting. Before conducting the shooting, the individual filmed a video with his weapons adorning many violent messages including words in Russian, anti-Semitic messages and a message hailing Andreas Breivik.

Anders Behring Breivik is a Norwegian neo-Nazi terrorist and mass murderer, and was sentenced to 21 years in prison for carrying out the deadliest attack in Norway since World War II by detonating a car bomb in Oslo’s government quarter, killing eight people, and then traveling to Utøya island where he shot and killed 69 participants, mostly teenagers, at a Labour Party youth camp.
The other mass shootings at US schools this year according to CNN were the shooting at Wilmer-Hutchins High School (Dallas, Texas) that left up to four students dead, Florida State University (Tallahassee, Florida) with 2 killed, Mason Community Learning Center (Akron, Ohio) and the latest shooting of Annunciation Catholic School.
