The Assikura Women’s League resumed this week after a brief pause for the Assikura Women’s Super Cup, which was lifted by Swieqi United following their victory over Mġarr United.
Back in league action, Swieqi claimed a narrow 1-0 win against rivals Birkirkara in the marquee clash, while Mġarr and Hibernians both maintained their perfect starts to the season with dominant victories.
