Staff at HSBC Malta have suspended their strike today as talks take place between the bank’s management and trade unions, namely the Malta Union of Banking Employees and the General Workers’ Union. The MUBE however, has stated that the bank has yet to present meaningful proposals and the strike will resume if the bank doesn’t offer a reasonable solution. .
