On Thursday at around 6 p.m., police were informed of a traffic accident on Triq Sant’ Antnin, Wied il-Għajn.
Police officers rushed to the scene, where initial investigations showed that the crash involved a Toyota Passo, driven by a 28-year-old woman from Wied il-Għajn, and a Kymco Agility motorcycle, driven by a 33-year-old man from Tarxien.
A medical team was called to assist, and the motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified as having sustained serious injuries.
Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
