Maltese-flagged ship Eurochampion fails to load oil from Primorsk after Ukraine bombs oil terminal

One of the Maltese-flagged ships that is involved in the Russian oil-trade has failed to load up its oil cargo after Ukraine bombed the Primorsk oil terminal in the Gul of Finland with multiple drones. The Maltese-flagged Eurochampion was on its way to Primorsk before the attack took place and is now stranded in the Gulf of Finland. Another oil tanker which had already called into the port was damaged during the attack.

Ukraine is currently decapitating Russia’s oil industry in an effort to cut Russia off its oil revenues. Many Maltese-flagged oil tankers are persisting in the Russian oil trade despite these attacks. Russia is experiencing a major gasoline crisis as a result of Ukraine’s attacks with major fuel shortages all over Russia.
