A list of Maltese-flagged ships trading in Russian oil

This is a work in progress because the list of Maltese-flagged ships trading in Russian oil is extensive. All of the ships listed below have traded in Russian oil in 2024 or 2025. Some of them are trading in Russian oil as I write. The most popular Russian harbours for loading Russian oil for these ships seem to be Primorsk and Novorossiysk.

There is a large number of ships loading oil from China and there is even a crude oil tanker regularly buying oil from Iran called the Captain John (IMO, 9692832).
