HSBC Malta strike suspended: meeting with union members to be announced soon

The Malta Union of Banking Employees has just suspended its strike yet again, citing a satisfactory offer that it received from the bank. The offer involves a formula which compensates workers accordign to the number of years of service and will be present to the union’s members in a meeting that it will be announcing shortly.

HSBC Malta is in the process of being sold to Credia Bank.
