Lovin Malta (Cartoon Network) uploaded this video on line of Antvin Monseigneur speaking out against the Nationalist Party’s proposal to introduce constitutional protection for the environment and the ecosystems. Like the Labour Party, he argued that these constitutional provisions will hurt Malta’s “traditions” and “hobbies”.
Antvin Monseigneur was quoted as the President of the Malta Sports Journalists Association, however Lovin Malta failed to mention that Antvin Monseigneur is also a Labour Party activist, a canvasser for Clifton Grima, and a previous ONE Ness reporter.
He is also a sports reporter with TVM but also works as a Senior Manager with the LANDS department.
Hunters, and the FKNK organisation, have come out in force against the Nationalist Party’s proposals, and this opposition also includes many clubs and associations who are fronted by Labour Party associates and individuals. Labour is trying to give the impression that by protecting the environment, people enjoying hobbies will somehow be affected. Ironically, hunters are a major factor preventing people from enjoying the outdoors and the environment.
