Police Inspector who botched case of Prime Minister’s friend to be promoted

According to Times of Malta, the Police Inspector, Gabriel Micallef who botched the case of the Prime Minister’s friend Christian Borg, is to be promoted this Wednesday. He will be promoted to Superintendent. Inspector Gabriel Micallef failed to attach a testimony document to in a perjury case against Christian Borg leading to Christian Borg’ acquittal.

Christian Borg is a former drug-dealer turned car-lease businessman who laundered his money via his regular business and the incumbent Prime Minister when was his lawyer. Christian Borg’s lawyer is currently the Prime Minister’s brother-in-law.

Despite an ongoing case about kidnapping and being suspected by the Police over money-laundering, Christian Borg has been extensively protected and tolerated by the authorities and he still does regular business today.

Gabriel Micallef was also previously suspended from the Police for tampering with evidence in the Paul Sheehan case in which Paul Sheehan fired at a speeding car from ministerial vehicle in a high-speed chase.

The Labour government is turning the Police Force into a fully-fledged criminal force. Gabriel Micallef’s promotion will ensure further cove-ups and protection of criminals associated with the Labour Party and its politicians.
