Dielyn Edwards Reaches Quarter-Finals at European Blackball Championships

Maltese rising star Dielyn Edwards has advanced to the quarter-finals of the individual competition at the European Blackball Championships in Ennis, Ireland, following two commanding victories.

Edwards was in superb form, cruising past Nick Muscat and Riley Morton with identical 5โ€“0 scorelines. He will return to action in two daysโ€™ time to face Darragh Gallagher, with a semi-final place at stake.

In the team competitions, Maltaโ€™s national squads continued to impress with a series of excellent results. The Menโ€™s A Team secured a 17โ€“8 win over Ireland, while the Menโ€™s B Team overcame Wales B1 with a 15โ€“10 victory. The Seniors Team also battled hard to claim a 13โ€“12 triumph against Ireland.

The Under-23 Team maintained their strong form, defeating Wales 16โ€“9, while the Under-15 Team earned a 10โ€“5 win over Wales before falling 9โ€“6 to Ireland A later in the day.
