Energy Minister Miriam Dalli is relentless with the state-funded propaganda despite several warnings by the Standards Commissioner that state funding for political propaganda is irregular. Apart from a series of videos that the Minister has launched, the Ministry of Energy and its related entities will be putting up at least three new billboards promoting their initiatives in the coming days and weeks.
Project Green will be placing a billboard in Ħal Għaxaq, Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq and another one in Cospicua and will be spending up to €10,000 per billboard.
The Minister for Energy is also avoiding issuing details about a €60 million loss in carbon-credits trading. What she lacks in transparency she compensates with propaganda and further cash-burn of public funds for her self-centered propaganda.
I wonder why anyone thought it was a very good idea to appoint a previous ONE newscaster as Minister for Energy.
