The property market just keeps getting progressively hotter as latest statistics by the NSO show that last October was the second record month since 2020 for property sales. Saint Paul’s Bay is the most sought locality followed by Birkirkara and Marsaskala. 1,287 final deeds of sale were signed in the month of October with a total value of €358.3m. Up to €301 million of these sales consisted individual buyers and households buying residential property.
July 2025 registered a record total value of €383.1 million in property sales with up to 1266 properties sold. December 2021 was a record month for the number of deeds with up to 1,390 sakes with a total value of €304.2 million. Volume of property sales in April 2025 was €311.0 million with up to 1047 final deeds signed.
In October, 1,353 promise of sale agreements relating to residential property were registered, equivalent to an increase of 5.5% over the same month in 2024.
