One of the most trusted deputies of Police Commissioner Aneglo Gafa, Assistant Police Commissioner Malcolm Bondin, has been put on forced leave over a series allegations. The allegations were made via the internal Police system intended to report Police abuse according to the official press release.
The Police did not officially confirm the allegations but press reports are stating that the case is about a car-part theft.
Our sources describe him as one of the closest and most trusted allies and deputies of Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa. Internal Police sources told The Maltese Herald, that Police officers have in the past accused Commissioner Angelo Gafa of overlooking various reports made with regard to his Assistant Commissioner. Malcolm Bondin was also involved in an altercation between a private individual which was kept under wraps.
