At least two civilians killed in overnight airstrikes by Russia on Ukraine: frontline soldiers warn frontlines in the south may collapse

At least two civilian women were killed in the Chernihiv region yesterday evening as Russia launched more than 110 Shahed drones and 4 Iksander ballistic missiles at Ukrainian cities. The cities of Kherson and Dnipro were also hit. A commuter train and the public broadcaster in Dnipro were also struck.

Russia has exponentially increased its airstrikes against Ukrainian cities this year.

Meanwhile, frontline soldiers are increasingly and consistently reporting that the situation in the southern front mainly in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions are deteriorating significantly fast. Ukrainian soldiers consistently cite lack of personnel and weaponry as the causes for their challenges.

The Russian army has recently claimed Pokrovsk and is also progressing at a piecemeal pace in the Donbas region.
