Joseph Muscat is the only ex-Prime Minister of Malta who was present at the Republic Day ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Valletta, who is currently being charged in Court with extensive corruption and fraud. However, he should be in a quite festive mood as the Vitals case risks total collapse – this also ensures there are no qualms between him and the incumbent Prime Minister.
