More than 2,000 people killed by security forces in Iran protests: President Trump pledges help

Despite an internet black-out, several major news outlets confirmed that the death toll of Iranian citizens killed by security forces in Iran’s ongoing protests has exceeded 2,000 people with eyewitnesses providing footage of dead bodies strewn on the floor in hospitals. Other videos such as the one below show footage of gun-fire in Kermanshah where many protestors have been killed. Footage and data are being transmitted via Sim-cards.

President Donald Trump previously warned the Islamic Regime not to shoot at protestors. He has now said that help against the Iranian regime is on its way. Separately, President Trump also declared an additional 25% tariff on any nation trading with Iran and this announcement is already disrupting trade with Iran by China and the UAE especially with banks who are refusing to process transactions to Iranian accounts.

The Islamic Regime is yet still in control of the country and it is organising daily morning marches in its support in the capital city of Tehran. President Masoud Pezeshkian has attended one of the pro-government demonstrations and pledged economic reforms and to listen to protestors but gave stern warnings against rioters.

The President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has banned Iranian diplomats and state officials from the European Parliament.
