Hundreds of young people and women murdered in Tehran by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps

Hundreds of young people, many of them students and women have been hunted down and murdered by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Tehran. IRGC members in civilian clothes are hunting down young protestors in the streets. Many of these students were abducted, killed and then their bodies dumped at hospitals or at universities.

Details and reports are sparse as an internet blackout was enforced in Iran. However eyewitnesses were able to relay their stories to various international outlets including Reuters and AFP.

The IRGC are operating in plain clothes, but police and security forces are also shooting protestors in the streets. Footage of both is shown below.

Tensions have escalated after up to 25 mosques in Tehran alone were set alight. Protests are ongoing.

Labour Party MEP Daniel Attard has called on the EU to list the IRGC as a terrorist organisation.
