Iran’s Supreme Leader confirms that thousands of protestors have been murdered: more footage emerges

Last Saturday, in a speech given in Tehran, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei blamed Israel and the US for the thousands of protestors that were murdered by security forces in Iran during ongoing protests. He also blamed US President Donald Trump, accusing him of being directly involved and said that “the Iranian nation must break the backs of the seditionists.”

According to the Iranian human rights organisation HRANA, 3,919 protestors were killed by the security forces since protests have started at the turn of the year, and another 24,669 protestors were arrested. Up to 8,949 deaths are still being ivnestigated.

25 of the individuals killed were children under the age of 18 while another 31 individuals killed had no connection to the protests.

Meanwhile, more footage is emerging of the crimes committed against protestors with footage shown below showing gun-fire during a protest in Tehran on January 8th. Other footage below was captured during the weekend.
