Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia conducted no aerial attacks against electric infrastructure today, but shelling and aerial attacks against cities including Dnipro and Zaporizhia continued during the weekend with Russia also bombing a maternity hospital in Zaporizhia. During the weekend, Russia launched more than 150 drones and missiles at Ukrainian towns and cities including against electric infrastructure in Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic issued a statement describing Russia’s attacks against Ukraine’s civilian electric infrastructure as a war crime. France has also stated that Russia’s ceasefire announced last week is only a delaying tactic for an actual ceasefire and peace in Ukraine as Russia kept bombarding Ukrainian towns and cities.
