A 45-year-old man was seriously injured following a traffic accident that occurred on Sunday at around 10:15pm on Triq Birkirkara in San Ġiljan.
Preliminary investigations found that the Croatian national, who resides in St Julian’s, lost control of the TVS Jupiter 125 motorcycle he was riding and fell.
A medical team provided assistance at the scene before the man was taken by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where he was later certified as having sustained grievous injuries.
Investigations by the Malta Police Force are ongoing.
