A Polish man who is wanted by the Polish authorities for being part of a violent criminal group, has set up camp in Gozo, Malta as a Polish tour-operator. Our story has now been featured in the Polish press here, here and also here. The story is very strange because he is still listed as wanted despite press reports.
However, we can confirm that his tourist licence MTA TRA/G/0024, has been issued in the name of his wife, Anna Machowiak, who for several years has been effectively helping him to evade the Polish authorities.
Now, Pawel is threatening other Polish tourist operators in Malta suspecting his competitors are trying undermine him – this is not true as they are not the source of our information. Pawel’s Facebook is public and he can be easily identified publicly.
We are also informed that he has been making extensive use of significant contacts in Gozo to help him in his business and cover-up. More about this later.
The story is gaining significant attention in Poland and a Polish TV crew ay also come to Malta to do a feature about it.
